This petition is intended to get the City of Yucaipa to improve the non-concrete path areas from the parking lot off Sunnyside Drive to the Community Softball Fields and make them wheelchair accessible.
been spending time at the park lately and seeing how hard it is for folks to navigate those dirt patches just makes me more determined. im currently putting together a list of who to email at city hall so we can get someone out here to see the problem for themselves.

the momentum behind this is honestly incredible. seeing so many people agree that the path needs fixing is huge and it shows the city that this isnt just a small request.

There are also many parents who support family members and cement walkway would very much help those with stollers or wagons.

My son runs at the park sometimes with the cross country and track team. He says it's unsafe when the sandy walk way gets wet. Super muddy and slippery.

The dirt paths are so bad... every time the sprinklers run or it rains... the water destroys the path and the wheels on wheelchairs get stuck in the dirt and San mix... horrible!!! Cemented paths are needed for wheelchair access and all those families that have strollers and wagons too!!!

If this is a public park, isn't it required to have access for all per the A.D.A.? http://www.friendshipcircle.org/blog/2013/06/20/what-you-need-to-know-about-accessibility-at-public-venues/ Let's do this!

My brother was a quadriplegic who spent much of his life fighting for accessibility for those in wheelchairs. He was a student at Cal Berkeley where he helped them to make their campus more accessible for students in wheelchairs especially. Please help give our disabled community access to the fields and help include everyone.

More consideration needs to be given to individuals with mobility issues. Praying that the City of Yucaipa sees this and chooses the only right course of action. Make all public areas accessible to everyone, regardless of their limitations.

Please improve the non-concrete path areas so that they may be easier for all those who are in wheelchairs to get to the park
