Giant Eagle Corporate has made the decision to close a lot of the Pittsburgh area Eagles Nests. The one at the Ben Avon, PA location is on the chopping block, scheduled for closure April 8, 2017! This service has offered child care in a fantastic supervised setting for years to the local community!

My youngest child is now 7. On her 3rd birthday, that was where she wanted to spend the day, because she had waited 3 years to be allowed in. I don't go shopping without dropping her off at the Eagles Nest.

This particular location always has kids in it! Plus they do extra activities like movie days for the kids, and coloring contests and more.

I started this petition in hopes to draw attention to how the community will suffer a loss by the closing of the Eagles Nest, and hopefully convince them to stay open.

I also recommend calling 1-800-553-2324 to voice your concerns to corporate!
