To the Attention of: Anne Hutcheson, Principal, Bellefonte Area High School Don Amoriello, Athletic Director, Bellefonte Area High School Members, Bellefonte Lacrosse Association Keep Tom Scordato as Head Coach We the undersigned parents and players of the Bellefonte Area High School Boys and Girls Lacrosse teams and community members hereby support Coach Tom Scordato. We want him to be retained as Head Coach of the boy’s Lacrosse team. Without Coach Scordato there would be no Bellefonte Lacrosse. He is a driving force for the development of the team. The team would not be where it is today without his dogged determination and full out dedication. Coach Scordato is a coaches’ coach. He is that rare person who leads with a natural talent that cannot be taught. Coach Scordato is a player’s coach. The boys respect him and follow him. This is documented from a player’s survey conducted in writing in May, 2009. In that 100% of the players fully agreed with all of the following statements: Playing this sport made me more responsible and dependable I felt I had a role on the team The hard work this season was worth it Being a good sport was emphasized I was treated fairly by the coaches I am more confident now in my playing abilities We the undersigned agree with these statements. We also ask that the complete survey results (included) be included in the official report to the principal. We feel he has done a terrific job getting these young men to their current level of play. Coach Scordato must keep coaching these young men so they continue to grow and improve in the skills already instilled in them through playing with and for him. Signed, Families and members of the Bellefonte Area High School Inaugural Boys Lacrosse Team and Bellefonte community members
