This is not only a very beautiful route for tourists to get to and from Bella Coola but it seems like a vital link for the Bella Coola community as well. I'm sure you can find another way to cut costs without cutting this route out entirely. Please reconsider!
The cancellation of the BC Ferry route Port Hardy - Bella Coola are a poor short term fix by the BC Government to make their books look good, but will have a huge negative impact in the future. Have the Government even had a look at the impact of their decision?
I live in UK and am a BCophile, regularly vacationing there. My favouring route is via the Discovery Coast Passage on BC Ferries and have persuaded several friends in the UK to take this sensational trip. It should be promoted rather than courtailed.
I join you in hoping that the Province will listen to the residents of our Coastal Communities who will pay the price through lost jobs, closed businesses and lost access to even the basic services, and the ultimate demise of our ferry system.
Promote the circle tour, make it more affordtable and more people would use it. Do not cut this route, it would be devastating to all the businesses that depend on tourists.This is a beautiful area. Look what happened to Stewart when the ferry service was cut.e
Ocean Falls, BC would benefit greatly with the ferry coming back!

I think this is a valuable tourism route that drives traffic to more rural areas of our province, not to mention a connection for the people that live on the central coast to access the rest of the province. It would be a shame to lose it.
