This Cancellation will have severe Economical Impact on the whole Bella Coola Valley all the Way up to Williams Lake. This Valley is very well known with High End, High Spend foreign Tourists coming up through Vancouver Island to Bella Coola. Federico von Sanden, Tour Operator, Germany / G.B.

I find it ironic that the provincial government blew $160 million dollars during the 2010 Olympics to promote tourism yet 4 short years later the proposal is to slash reduce and eliminate essential vessels to encourage that tourism. Shame on you Christy Clarke slash away while small remote communities lose the ability to survive and earn a living while you encourage big businesses and pipelines to thrive. I'm embarrassed to say this is my government when the difference between right and wrong is so blatantly obvious, yet those in power have yet again succumbed to greed and corruption!!

We need the province to get the Nimpkish is not a suitable vessel to replace the queen of Chilliwack. Without the larger vessel we won't have a tourism industry.
If you can go to the protest march organized on 11 March on the legislature lawn in Victoria, go and show your support to have the decision over turned.

Travelled on this route last Summer and was amazed by the beauty, tranquility and graet service provided on the Queen of Chilliwack. The Province will lose more from loss of tourist dollars than with the ferry service.

We discover Bella Coola some years ago, we fly from Vancouver…I wish to be bac again in this marvelous country and discover by route…Don't cancel Route 40 !

This Ferry is very important for the tourism in Canada and for tourists all over the world. I did use the ferry last year and visited the lovely Bella Coola. Please don't stop the direct ferry Port Hardy to Bella Coola! Kind Regards, S. Kiadora

This ferry is a joy for tourists which we use a lot for visitors to British Columbia. it would be a real shame for visitors and for tourism businesses (not to speak of residents) who rely on this service and in some cases have built their business around the convenience that BC ferries has offered.
