The United Humane Societies of Belize call on the community to partner with us and to assist us to improve the care and treatment of dogs and cats in our community. The Belize Dogs Act Chapter 153 and The Belize Cruelty to Animals Act Chapter 115 have not been amended or updated since December 31, 2000. We are asking for your signature to help us get these updated and new enforcement laws for cruelty to animals. The UHSB has been working hard the past two years to draft new legislation that we want to get in front of the Belize House of Representatives.
