we believe that keeping the beard is not affected by safety nor security related to the airline industry.

As we know that many other non middle eastern airline cabin crew, are allowed to keep their beard as well as our ground staff and the pilots.

Keeping a clean, trimmed and well shaved beard doesn't affect in any negative way, but on the contrary, it will affect in a positive way while working in a comfortable environment

My husband really struggles with the "no beard policy" as shaving realy irritates his skin and results in a rash and is extrememly uncomfortable especially on the neck area where the shirt rubs against his skin ! It effects his attitude about going to work, we dont need santa claus beards just not as strict on the growth of facial hair !!

like girls are allowed to have different types of hairstyles/length of hair which is controlled by uniform standards, there shouldn't be a reason why a neatly trimmed/well taken care off beard for men is not allowed.

My friend suffer from ingrown hair and acne because of shaving. Hope the company can change this by allowing him to have neatly trimmed beard instead of shaving to the skin which caused him to bleed all the time!

There is no reason not to allow beards as long as uniform regulations regarding their appearance are adhered to. "Neat and professional in appearance." To prohibit is discriminatory.

Males were allowed to have beards back in the early 90s but the major carriers said it interfered with personal breathing equipment . This has since been proven to be incorrect . It's now just an asthetics issue.

As of the hygiene work atmosphere for handling food, I believe beard won't affect that aspect, as there is chefs with beards however they cover their hair not matter of what length is it, so for crew if beard gonna effect the food hygiene then we should cover our hair too , as its the same.

Yes indian airlines should also allowed men to have beard. A good trim beard gives more confidence & also it feels good. There will be no effect on safety & also nor professionalism
