I pledge to support the call issued by 170-plus Palestinian civil society institutions for a campaign of boycott, divestment and sanctions against the state of Israel, comparable to the campaign that helped bring down South African Apartheid.

Together with these institutions I will support these non-violent measures until Israel complies with international law and respects the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination. This involves:

• 1  Ending its occupation and colonisation of all Palestinian lands;
  
  
• 2. Recognising the fundamental rights of the Palestinian-Arab citizens of Israel to full equality; and
  
  
• 3. Respecting the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties as stipulated in UN Resolution 194.
