We do not support the needless and mass shelling of civilians in Gaza!
Despite widespread international condemnation for its policy of violent
repression against the Palestinian people,
the Israeli government appears impervious to moral appeals from world
leaders. Israel have been shelling UN buildings and committing other war crimes, many of which have been filmed and documented by international journalists and UN officials, we want to say the people of the isle of man do not support what is happening now in Gaza. we, the citizens of a Western democracy, aren't going to look passively at the Israeli
crimes of war. In a globalised world, our passivity
as citizens of the world in the face of such inhumanity will stain all
of us.
Ordinary citizens can always play an important role in
fostering the growth of such a non-violent movement within civil
society. It is in this spirit that we call for Manx residents to sign this petition to show the people of Gaza that we do not support what is happening to them. Sometimes moral support is all we can offer but means so much to the men women and children going through horrific situations over which they have no control.
As with apartheid South Africa, urgent international condemnation is now required to help stop the massacres perpetrated against the Palestinian people.
Along with entire towns in Ireland boycotting Israeli produce and tens of thousands of people protesting in London and Dublin, we, the residents of the isle of man, are also against Israel's actions.

So much suffering. My heart goes out to the innocent kids who never asked for any of this violence.
Heartbreaking to watch the news every night. Thinking of all the families caught in the middle of this mess.
ABOUT TIME the island took a stand on this. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
What is going on over there is just evil. No human being should have to live under those conditions.
Glad to see people here finally speaking up. Been waiting for this for weeks.
