I cannot believe that such a wonderful establishment should be under threat of closure; so short sighted.

We love visiting this place to walk the dogs & enjoy tea & cakes. It would be such a loss if it was to close.

Do not let this happen. The centre and the staff are a huge asset to the Brecon Beacons.

Wales needs tourist and to close down this park centre is a folly , this will do damage far into the future. Open your eyes Powys.

I really enjoy visiting the centre in the Brecon Beacons. I have taken school parties there, friends there and visiting family. Please do not close this welcomed resource for those meeting to go on guided walks and those in need of essential information.

Cannot add more to comments already made without becoming repetitive. They have all been helpfull and constructive.Lets hope the authority takes heed and drops these ridiculous proposals and looks at alternative ways of saving money and increasing income

There are so little facilities in the Beacons. Why close one of the few?

The two centres are a major facility and essential to the areas in helping visitors.

Visitor Centre staff provide an invaluable service that seems to be appreciated by everyone except senior management. They deserve better treatment, especially those who have provided loyal service over a long period of time.

Please don't close the centre in Libanus. It has been the joy of my family since moving in Wales 15 years ago.

I visit the Mountain Centre on a regular basis and greatly value the beautiful setting, helpful and informative staff, advice and information relevant to all visitors ages and experience. The centre has allways been busy and I have heard many positive comments from visitors. I would have fears for walkers if the weather forecast for the mountains was not avaliable given so many use this centre. It will be a very great loss if closed.

This facility is a major benefit to the people of South Wales, not to mention the thousands of tourists who visit each year. Surely it is possible to devise a business plan that can make it viable, it is too easy to simply close it down.

One of our favourite places. The food is great and the place is always well attended with people of all ages. Interesting information and staff are so helpful.

With tourism so vital to the area this seems shortsighted. Investment not closure!

Closure of these sights will be madness, especially at Libanus. Such a beautiful area and interesting centre. What will offices be needed for if the centres close? I am so angry about this proposal.

Ask the public, the centre's visitors, for money saving it money raising ideas - there'll be other, more creative ways, of affording the centre.
