Very shortsighted policy to close successful visitor centres which encourage tourism and maintain valuable employment.

I think the closure of the Information Centre would be such a shame as it is an important asset in the promotion of our Heritage.I can't imagine such a thing happening in Llanberis or the Peak District

This proposal seems very short sighted - not only from a safety and educational perspective. The tea-rooms have developed enormously over the 45 years + that I have been visiting the centre on a regular basis. It is difficult to imagine that they will not suffer significantly from the loss of the other vital services.

The closure will affect the number of visitors to the park. This is our jewel in the crown. Please re-consider

Please don't close these information centres - they are such an important way to help people learn about and be inspired by this beautiful area. We want people to treasure and look after our countryside and understand our heritage

I'm sure that there are savings they can make, without drastically affecting their service to the public

I think these closures would be a mistake impacting on tourism and the local economy.

The Brecon Beacons are one of our finest assets in Wales, and attract many visitors whose safety should be paramount. Can you imagine this happening in the Lake District?

The visitor centre is an amazing and very necessary resource. It provides so much to help people who want to walk and travel around the area. I love going there.

Surely funding could be sourced somehow. I thought this place an excellent venue when I did my weekend navigation course. And the tearoom & facilities were first class.

Do not understand how this place is not making money. Always busy when I've called there.
