Please don't close the visitor centres. They are an important resource and play an important role in supporting and generating important tourisum within the Brecon Beacons . With proper organisation volunteers could help to "man" these important centres.

The visitor centres are an absolutely essential element of the National Park, and public access to information about the Park should be preserved at all costs. Far better to achieve the necessary cuts by getting rid of the bureaucrats and offices at the Park hq.

Unlike locals, visitors need good guidance in the sing the area. These centres provide an invaluable service.

Short sighted and badly thought through.

At a time we are being encouraged to lead healthier lives these information centres need to be retained to keep the interest for people and provide important information. In addition they provide a focus for children to inform and inspire them with good information now and in the future. If we lose them now we will not get them back in the future when there will be more money available.

I have used this centre many times with family and friends and I am really disappointed that you intend to close the centre.

This proposal is extremely short-sighted. The Information Centres provide invaluable assistance and encourage more people to explore and walk in other places.

Please don't be so short sighted, we all need these information centres to remain open.

Saving money in the wrong place. We need our information centres for visitors to Wales.

I hope that this doesn't go ahead as this is a vital part of the Brecon Beacons...

This is a dreadful idea. The Visitor Centre is the focus or first "port of call" for many people, possibly visiting the Beacons for the first time. The Information then enriches the experience as well as providing valuable support & encouragement to explore more widely and SAFELY in the area. Closure of the Information Centre will degrade perception of the area to being just a nice place to stop for a cup of tea.

Cannot believe this! For safety reasons alone this centre should be kept open,it provides advice in the most central part of the Brecon Beacons. Short sighted and crazy decision.

This is such a useful centre and well regarded by locals and very necessary for tourists, and Wales badly needs tourism.
