If the visitors centre closes it will mean a serious downgrading of the Tourist Industry in this area as no one will know what there is to see.

The value of the visitor centres in the National Park are found in the safety, protection and well being of visitors and local communites as we inform people on a face to face level, allowing for discussions, seek to find answers to questions and also have the opportunity to give the quality information to enhance a visit beyond initial inquiries. CARE FOR THE PEOPLE: KEEP THE MOUNTAIN CENTRE OPEN.

We bn enjoying the Mountain centre for over 20 years bringing tourists from Germany. As crafters The mountain ce.ntre sells our goods and as a small country cottage industry we depend on this income from tourists. Many small businesses will b affected by a closure of these facilities.

I have been a regular visitor to the mountain centre for ten years. My husband a local craftsman, made bespoke chairs and tables for the centre twenty years ago. Please don't shut the visitor centre, you will regret it, as tourists will bypass Brecon and go on to other well presented tourism areas. This will have a bad affect for the local community and economy, that relies heavily on tourism!

I have been a regular visitor to the mountain centre for 33 years, it has given me great pleasure and enjoyment, as well as the hundreds of thousands of visitors from all corners of the World who have had great memories. The visitor centre's proposed closure will have a detrimental affect not only to the great, helpful & kind staff which may lose there jobs, but to many tourist based businesses, craftsmen , schools, etc which benefit greatly from the centre.

The Mountain Centre is a vital part of the tourist industry for the Central part of the National Park. Please ensure that it is not closed because of budgetary constraints. All agree that it is an important resource for residents and visitors, on many levels. Please reconsider...

As a frequent visitor to the Brecon Beacons, I am appalled to hear that the visitor centre at Libanus is to close. This can only have a tremendously negative impact on visitor numbers and experience. I very much hope that this closure can be avoided.

We need tourism in the area to bring in money to the area. Closing these centres is a sure way to reduce the income.

The continued dilution of information centre facilities available to local business's, the local and visiting public can only be detrimental to the good image and reputation of the BBNP park where information is readily available, offered face to face by informed and experienced personel in a friendly and welcoming environment. The impact of these facilities being lost will reduce the visitor experience and park reputation.

Visitors to our beautiful National Park should be able to seek advice and information about their visit from knowledgeable and adaptable sources.
A website is not able to modify the information it gives depending on the weather conditions, a visitor's experience, appropriate clothing, likes and dislikes, available transport etc.
Only knowledgeable and experienced people can give the information and advice that will enable visitors to enjoy their visit to the full and encourage repeat visits.
The National Park Authority would not be properly meeting their statutory policies and duty if it were to close the visitor information centres and lose the personal, public interface it has through their dedicated staff.
