As a frequent visitor to the park the loss of these centres would reduce the pleasure to be had from my visits.

I've brought school children here for years as part of their a level field studiea course work and future ones would suffer if it were not available

It would be dangerous to close V.C. Walkers need somewhere for shelter and refreshments. It would be shortsighted, as walkers from out of area would have no information on where to go, therefore would put tourists off visiting area.

It is important to maintain the information centres and shops at the Mountain Centre & the waterfall centre for the benefit of tourists . They provide a vital service . Tourism is a very important part of income generation in this rural area .

A national park without a visitor centre, especially the jewel in the crown of Wales that is Brecon Beacons, is crazy. We should take pride in our national heritage and continue to promote the Beacons with these excellent visitors centres.

I cannot think of an interpretation centre so effectively and conveniently located, ideal especially for attracting visitors unacquainted with the Beacons or even with any mountain wilderness. Given the recent scenes of hundreds flocking to Beacons to enjoy the snow at risk to themselves, others and the park itself, it is inconceivable that the Park can contemplate not providing the study and interpretation facilities now provided at Libanus.

The Libanus centre represents the heart of the Brecon Beacons for visitors and locals. It is a place I always take friends and my visitors when we go to the Beacons, so we can learn more about the area. It is also a beautiful place to take elderly or disabled people who cannot walk in the hills. They can sit by the big windows and experience the atmosphere of the mountains, whilst enjoying the displays. The café will not provide this, simply because it has a busy café atmosphere.

This makes no sense - if the Visitor Centre closes what revenue it does raise will end with it, and visitors will no longer be able to learn more about the parks to help protect this environment.

Visitor centres are an essential for tourist numbers. A lot of tourists would not visit an area without a visitors centre. Closing visitor centres has to be one of the worst moves that can be made over the areas present and future, especially in a national park.

I think the visitor centres are invaluable for tourism, education, safety and development of rural areas.Closing these centres will be a huge loss to the wlaking community and to families in South Wales who are looking for recreation in the countryside.
