The closures are unacceptable, unjustifiable and frankly unconsidering of better alternatives - Closing places just destroys what little was built up by the Breacon Beacons National Park Authority.

This, for so many people, IS the National Park key link.
To close it flies in the face of everything the National Park should stand for.

On retiring to Wales some 6 years ago we have found this facility invaluable.itmust stay open for future people who visit and live in this wonderful part of our countryside. You cannot assess in money terms the benefits costs

Information on our history and heritage needs to be available at such places, otherwise we will lose this. Once closed this will never be replaced.

NATIONAL park, if the government want to make cuts .... Cut the money being sent abroad ... Like India. Not a place that belongs to the Nation, a place of great use.

I've been visiting the mountain centre for all my life. My father before me.. locally it's an asset please do not close our centre.

The "Mountain Centre" has been an integral part of our family's life for many years.....from primary school trips to family outings. It is one of our "Must visit ' places annually when we return from Australia to visit family in Brecon. It holds many precious memories but equally is unrivalled in educating people young and old on the beauty , history and heritage of the National Park. It seems that the number of bureaucrats are expanding exponentially whilst forgetting the real purpose of the "National Park". I cannot believe the shortsightedness and strongly suggest someone looks at a better business and people model.

As a member of the local community -and as someone who has studied tourism in the national park from an academic perspective during my degree course- I think that this proposal is ridiculous and really hope that this petition works. There are already enough people sitting in offices in the BBNP authority. The relevance of so many office jobs is far more questionable than the relevance of the few people who work in visitor centres and actually interact personally with the tourists who come to this area. No holiday maker will remember seeing some boring offices above a tearoom.. But they are likely to remember the visual experience of the 3D maps of the mountain range and the mosaics made by local schools and the full scensory experience of completing the nature hunt designed for children!
