Incredibly shortsighted! What purpose does the Park have if it is not available to educate and inform the public. How are the children going to learn about the natural environment they live in or visit if the information centres are closed.
Is the BBNP just going to be a Park which provides jobs for administrative personnel?
Where have all the large sums of money gone which the BBNP has received from Europe through Collaborate and other projects? Probably all on report writing to keep the admin people in a job.

This centre provides a great deal of information and help to visitors and would be a great loss to the area, it needs to stay open!

This is the most important centre in the park and it is essential that it remains open. The beacons are the jewel in the crown. If this visitor centre closes BBNP might as well be closed down.

The centre at Libanus is the public face of the National Park and the main focal point. If money has to be saved it should be done by thinning out the huge number of people employed in the Brecon office.

We have regularly brought both visiting family and overseas friends to the visitor centre over the years and would hate to see it closed

I have used both centres for advice before walks and both are a great base to start from. It would be very short sighted to close both.
