This would be the worst decision that this National Park has ever made ! It is the most popular place with excellent information staff and what happens to the school parties who visit ?

This would be totally the wrong decision. A far better option would be to look at ways of increasing the revenue from the Information Centres. Please do not close the Information Centre.

We love coming to this centre. We brought our children regularly many years ago and now bring our grandchildren. It's informative and well run and a very welcome place to stop on an afternoon out with visitors to Wales

Please do not close these sites I have visited many times with both my family and with my horse and have immensely enjoyed my visits EVERYTIME as the staff at both sites have been very professional and knowledgable in advice and information regarding history and places to visit

The Beacons and waterfall areas are a stunning and at times a very dangerous place.
If these proposals are implemented by the BBNP it not only shows lack of forethought but a blatant disregard to the safety of visitors by withdrawing a valuable source of information that is available by personal contact with Park staff.
Surely the BBNP authority have a duty of care to visitors of the area.

This is a massive part of the tourism in Brecon thousands visit every year and many then call into the town. And surrounding areas and help keep the economy going.

This facility must be kept open for the public !! Thousands visit each year bring revenue to the locality ! The tourist board are pushing this how disappointed would people be to find this closed and in decay !!

The Mountain Centre and the Waterfalls Centre are key strategic visitor sites for fulfilling the National Park Authority's legal to promoting, raising awareness and understanding and enjoyment about/of the National Park. The closures of these centres is extremely short sighted and undermine the Authority's purposes.

Very short sighted proposal, there are only three National Parks in Wales and the Libanus Centre is spectacularly situated in the central Beacons with a glorious view of Pen Y Fan. What better way to educate and enlighten people from around the world who visit the Beacons - the closure of this information centre and at the Waterfalls kills an opportunity to sell the area and generate repeat visits. Everyone loses out as it shows the Authority doesn't care.
