The centre is a icon amongst the national parks of Great Britain and must continue and educate the young and entertain the elderly. I have been going to the centre all my life I'm now 54 and would like to my grand children. No to another office bloke !!!!!

This centre has been part of the community for a great many years. Providing help and information for a number of generations. It's closure would be detrimental to the local environment and economy.

The centre is necessary to not only accommodate the information that tourists need,but to educate everyone who visits so that the NP can be properly cared for. What is the justification for it? If it is not generating enough funds then find a way to make it do so. As the visitors/tourists to donate, apply for grants...do something to keep it going please

Been visiting the mountains centre since I was a kid and now Love visiting with my own children. Place currently offers so much more than a tea room with a view. we like looking at the model of the national park too see where we have walked etc. we've enjoyed lots of events held there too. This would be a real loss to the NP.

I am a hiker and these information centres are the first place I go to when visiting a national park. Bad for users of the par, bad for local communities and bad for employees who lose their jobs. How can this be justified?

The Brecon Mountain Information Centre is a fabulous resource for locals and visitors alike. Helpful and informed advice from pleasant staff backed up with literature and maps makes for appropriate, safe outings. The cafe is exceptional too.

Yet another public service withdrawn. When all the public services are withdrawn and the National Parks are deemed not to operate as they should they'll sell off the best bits to their cronies. Not that I am in any way cynical!

I have been a regular visitor to the centre at Libanus as a parent and as a teacher with groups for nearly 30 years. It would be a terrible loss and the staff there are excellent with all ages.
