Recently moved to Brecon and use this centre regularly and bring my visitors here. Staff were extremely helpful orientating me to the area and pointing out local areas of interest

We have used the Libanus centre over many years for ourselves, children and grandchildren. This will be greatly missed by local people and visitors to the area.

I have been visiting the Mountain Centre in Libanus since moving to Brecon in 1980 on a regular basis and have always enjoyed the centres facilities.

The 2 visitor centres marked for closure at the waterfalls and Libanus are at 2 very important and popular locations for visitors to the Brecon Beacons; certainly 2 of my favourite spots in the National Park.
I'm so disheartened to hear of their imminent closure. I think this will impact negatively upon tourism to the National Park and upon visitors' understanding and appreciation of the National Park; in particular the local areas affected by closures. I do hope this petition is successful in securing a turnaround by the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority.

More promotion needed, not less. Visitor centre is a focal point of all things good about the National Park. It is suitable for all people, from car visitors inc the elderly and people with disabilities thru to the hard core outdoor enthusiasts. G

Closure is not an answer. Use the facility more effectively. Surely the cafe actually makes money. I don't understand that a 5% reduction would result in closure

The value of the park visitor centres is higher to the communities of Wales than the money the parks authority will save in closing them.
Find other areas in the authority to cut.

Please keep this long standing Information Centre open. We need it to provide useful and interesting advice/info so generations can continue to enjoy the outstanding beauty of Brecon.

I have used this centre on numerous occasions . To close it is very shortsighted penny pinching . A better idea would be to promote it more and offer its rooms for a sensible daily rate to encourage local businesses to use it more often

You need to welcome visitors to the area ,how can you do that if these facilities are lost?
