This is an important part of the local community. The people who work there are so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the local amenities. They all add such value promoting Brecon so enthusiastically.

You must keep this centre open, it is vital for information on our heritage and also other small businesses that rely on you

I believe this is not only a useful resource for visitors near and far but also a valuable source of revenue - I have seen many make their donation into the box within the centre, including myself.

The Mountain Centre at Libanus is vital in providing information for walkers, etc.

It would seem to me that in order to meet the requirements of both education and tourism, that information needs to be made available. Not to mention the safety aspect, if potentially inexperienced walkers are to take to the hills, they need all the help they can get!

These facilities are the very things that should be expanded not closed. Does BBNPA and their funding agencies not understand the county needs tourism? If the the area was properly advertised and its benefits 'sold' to the public the investment would be recouped with interest. But, like so many things in Powys closing facilities is an easy option.

Why close something that is vital to the number one earner in this area? So short sightedness!

The National Park has been saddled with some pretty lame chief execs but this one really does take the biscuit.

Disgraceful to even think about doing this. Time to think again and remove some of those at the top I think.

What a crazy thing to do-Powys council must surely think about the future and all the visitors who use this facility especially the foreigners.
