I agree with the points raised. I would add that the staff at the Libanus Centre are well experienced mountain walk leaders and regularly advise tourists on routes and suitable clothing etc. Similarly on weather conditions. On many occasions my wife and I have listened to them in very firm terms advising people to take alternative walk as what they had planned was foolhardy. They have undoubtedly saved lives and the number of callouts for the emergency services whether mountain rescue, ambulance, fire service , police or air ambulance. In short they have prevented much un-necessary expense.

It would be a shame to close this visitor centre before finding out if it could be saved.

It's short sighted to close this valuable resource and to deny all sorts of visitors access to information and and the other facilities it offers.

The Visitors Centres are focal points of the the Park and often the first introduction to the beauty of the area for young & old. I feel this will be a retrograde step & while it appears the tea rooms will remain open, we must ask for how long?

The visitor centre is a great asset to the national park, a superbly run centre that provides great info to the public on how to access and enjoy the park to its fullist.

The Visitor Centre will be missed by a lot of people, maybe if they had some rooms for people to stay it would help with occasions like weddings

All centres are an asset to the help of visitors. We need centres such as this, the Brecon Beacons has a lot to offer and is over a big area.

As a member of Brecon Mountain Rescue team I think closing the information centres could lead to an increase in incidents as the centres provide essential information to visitors on safety, weather conditions and appropriate walking routes and places to visit

The attractions up there are limited at moment, take any away and it will kill the place
