This is such an important resource for information about the park and routes for walkers and for tourism and the income that adds to the local economy- the tea rooms at Libanus are one of my favourite places in Wales it can't close!

This important resource should be retained so that all members of the community can enjoy the park. The centre is welcoming to families, adventurers, older people and those not able to walk far. Keep it open!

I cannot believe another part of local heritage is under fire. The Mountain centre has always been a place to learn and a place of natural local hospitality not to mention the local business who will no doubt suffer. What next.........

This facility should be retained for its educational and tourist information value. It holds a rare location overlooking the northern slopes of the Brecon Beacons. It has the potential to have a good revenue stream if only it was marketed more and its resources used to full effect.

Born in Brecon but live in Worcestershire. We Visit the Centre and the park monthly. A valuable resource available to everyone that should never close. The centre could be promoted and expanded. Superb location, visitor friendly, educational and great staff.

The BBNP Visitor Centre is such an important resource for visitors to the national park. To keep attracting visitors to the area it is essential that the visitor centre remains open.

I live near Brecon and am gutted to hear about the closures. It would be a disaster for the local community - if you have small children it is such a wonderful place to come. My children learnt so much here when they were small. Roedd popeth yn ddwyieithog ac roedd hynny'n help mawr i ni oherwydd bod ni wedi dysgu Cymraeg. It's not just a matter of going to the cafe - it's the educational trails and info provided over the years which have been so valuable:
a cheap afternoon out - but in educational terms - priceless.
Sanity for parents of small children during school holidays. Total sanity for those at home with a couple of toddlers. If it rains you can take refuge in the cafe.
"What does that sign say?" In English and in Welsh. A place where fingers come out and point.
Oh, the things which affect reading skills....
Why are we shutting things which add value, encourage visitors into the area? What will the impact be on local businesses?

Where's the tourist board that they are not sorting this out. Less visitor attractions means less visitors, means less in the local economy.

If the centre closes it will be one of the greatest losses for the Welsh tourist industry and for the youth of all areas. Walkers and tourists will not have the chance to enjoy this beautiful place.

This is such a brilliant and helpful source of information when planning my day trips on my many visits to your beautiful part of the world. Your staff are so knowledgeable and pleasant and interested - I don't know how you could be considering closing such a fabulous facility.

I am devastated to hear of this. We have visited the centre at least a dozen times a year all of our married lives,firstly with our children and now with our grandchildren .We will all be devastated if you close it. please don't,
