Just food for thought, is there any reason they can't charge a small parking fee at Pont a Daf and Story Arms to help subsidise the visitor center.

I have previously worked at the Pont-Nedd-Fechan Centre, and know how much walkers/visitors depend on the knowledge gained from staff about this wonderful area. I also worked at Bridgend & Porthcawl TICs, which have both fallen victim to closure, meaning that those areas now have no centres providing the information available in past years. I would hate to see the same thing happening to these great facilities, and would strongly urge the decision-makers to re-consider their closure, and try to come up with other plans for their usage in the future.

These are important to people who visit the Brecons, either from the local area or from further afield. I used the Libanus centre only last week.

The loss of these facilities is removing the educational and engagements facilities for future generations. The 'Mountain Centre' has been providing information and engaging with the public for over 50 years.

These are much used and well appreciated facilities. The proposed closures would be a great loss both to visitors and to those who provide the goods and services available at the centres. I do hope an alternative solution will be found.

We have been using the facilities at Libanus for over 40 years. The information centre is a vital and integral part of the facility. At this time outdoor activities are becoming more popular than ever and to reduce the information about the National Park and its attractions seems to be unwise.
