I believe this proposal to be very short sighted and will substantially detract from the attraction of both sites.It will disadvantage visitors and lead to possible unintended consequences.

What effort has been made to economise elsewhere?
Could any charges be revised
to help with income?
I fear their closure would lead to a loss of visitors & overall income to the park.

The BBNPA are being very short sighted. The visitors centre helps attract thousands of visitors of all nationalities throughout the year. This promotes all of what the national park and Brecon have to offer in outstanding beauty and generates thousands of pounds to the Brecon economy.

at a time when wales are actively promoting our heritage and history attracting tourist they are proposing to close the visitors centre at libanus and waterfalls this vital provision has to be subsidised by WG if required to continue operating

The mountain centre has been a central meeting point for families for over 40years. In summer it attracts tourists and guides them to the town or for walks across the fabulous beacons. Perhaps the cuts could be more in administration than on the front line??

Trips to the Visitors Centre at Libanus are among our favourite outings and we go there every few months. We take visitors and recommend it to friends. It is a key feature of the National Park - without it the Park barely makes sense.

Closing these centres would be a real economic loss for the area. They are a very valuable resource centre for the General Public and need to stay open
