This would be disastrous and very short-sighted. The negative impact on tourism, and consequent revenue, would be significant. The implications do not seem to have been thought through.

I feel the Park Authority should reconsider its intention to close the centre at Libanus as it is valuable resource for ramblers and visitors.

This centre is integral to the National Park and essential for visitors. To close it would be a disaster. Please rethink !! Rob Wilkinson Cwmbran

I believe the proposed closures of the two information centres are very shortsighted.

The mountain centre is so popular so how can it be considered. Both centres are so popular PLEASE, PLEASE keep these centres. The old saying when it is gone, it is GONE. Lots of empty paces for another office

I have huge sympathy for the Welsh national park authorities which face dreadful cuts, but I believe that closing info centres is a false economy. We must spread the word about national parks!

Yet another possible short sighted closure. This comes at a time when people are encouraged to be more active, particularly children who are more obsese than ever!

Unbelievably bad for the Beacons. The impact is going to be massively negative. Ironic that the Beacons recently featured in a four part television series presented by Iolo Williams.

The visitor centre at Libyans is a delightful facility and I can't imagine why anyone should want to close it

The availability of face to face tourist information enhances visitor experience and in many cases improves economic development by encouraging longer stays in the area as well as potential off peak visits.

An ill conceived and counterproductive proposal. Long term impact of this would be disastrous.
