BBNP visitor centre closures

cannot believe this is being done, all my friends and family go there when they visit.

I have been visiting the centre at Libanus since I was a baby and continue to take my children there. Please don't close such a valuable and useful centre for visitors to the park.

Please don't close this wonderful walking/education facility . Wales will be a lot worse off if this goes to fruition

Get rid of the overs paid pen pushers in the office and the Rangers that don't do much apart from driving around in the big cars. And drive past as that see litter and fly tipping in the national park .... You two big to stop and pick it up???

I have used this facility both with education groups and as a member of the public and believe it is an important resource to maintain. The centre makes the countryside accessible to many and acts as a public face for the Park Authority. It is critical to maintain this resource both for educational purposes and as a central hub for the bussinesses who rely on such venues as a means of promoting their produce.

Have heard on the grapevine BBNPA are now planning to close tearooms at the mountain centre

Need to improve the visitor centre not close it, do some family friendly activities,

BBNP was a favourite with both my parents and my wife's parents while I walked in the Beacons. It enabled them to feel part of the day out. They ate meals and drank tea all day. I would like to be able to do that in the future. Goo management will bring in visitors.

Let's find another way to make this visitor centre work and not just close it due to funding. This is such a valuable and essential part of he Brecon Beacons that should be promoted and not downsized and facilities withdrawn. Further consultation needed please to a wider community too if possible. It's not just the immediate area this concerns and I do not feel full consultation has been done effectively as I have only recently found out not being a local. Thank you Hayley

I worked for many years at the Pontneddfechan TIC and visitor centre. There have been many, many accidents and even fatalities in this area over the years which will now increase without advice and information being available to visitors and walkers. I live in the village and it is completely inundated on holidays and weekends with cars and people hiking and climbing in this area.

This seems very short sighted. The Visitor Centre is a wonderful resource and has always been very busy whenever I've been there.

It's a disgrace--such a wonderful place!

This is an essential tourism service and indirectly provides a large economic benefit to the region

We need these centres so our young and old alike can learn about nature and conservation so they in turn can teach others and protect our beautiful country

The staff at The Mountain Centre are always helpful and knowledgeable on safety,routes and erosion etc. Closing them down is a backward step, a race to the bottom. Please Don't do it .

Please keep the 2 Visitors Centres open. They are a wonderful asset for all who enjoy the great outdoors.

There are too many services like this being cut under the current government's austerity measures, but they in fact represent a tiny proportion of government spending. These service could be retained with little impact on the deficit.

I am dismayed at the short sighted proposal to close BBNP visitor centre. Once lost, this vital facility is unlikely to ever be replaced and this will severely impact on the experience and safety of visitors to the park.

Please keep these facilities they play an important part in efforts to improve health and lifestyles.

Having been at Destination Management meetings in neighbouring NPTCBC and hearing of the parking presures in waterfall country due to the areas popularity, i cannot understand how this is even being considered, really words fail me.
