As we come out of lockdown, now more than ever we need to provide young people with the space and activities needed to improve their physical and mental health. Positive activities that bring young people together for fun and exercise should be a priority. I wholeheartedly support this petition.

There’s a big team of basketball players in Worcester and I think that they would benefit a lot from this. I also think that everyone will benefit from this because it will be another source of entertainment.

My 12 year old son love's basketball and we have got a hoop in our very small garden but the ball goes over the fence alot so a basketball court locally would be amazing

This would be a great asset to cripplegate and with an active over-60s basketball set up at the university, I'm sure not would be used by young and old.

I think this is a fab idea my partner and lad are massive basketball fans and love nothing better than shooting hoops for as long as I can remember to attually have some where they can go and do this would be amazing.
