Having picked up a ball for the first time in around 20 years it's amazing how few courts or rims there are to actually play on now. More needed for sure

Being a 15 year old who wants to play basketball but cannot get to clubs, this court would be great. Also, the basketball court in ghulevelt park has been taken down, so this is now needed even more

Growing up in the city during the 90s and trying to find a free court that wasn't miles away or a vandalised was a challenge. The sport is seeing a renaissance and in the spirit of well being the council should get on board with this!

Fantastic idea, it could be used by everyone. I play walking basketball for the over 60's at the university and I'm sure an outdoor court would benefit lots of age groups especially now when playing and exercising outside is safer than inside because of Covid19.

I was only saying this the other day; wondering if the new revamped tennis court area would incorporate a basketball court too as this would be much more inclusive and appeal to more a varied people.
Fingers crossed agreement is given, it would be a very welcome addition to the park.

It's amazing adea, but shall be created by far more basketball outdoor courts than one in this city. It's very popular sport in Worcester but not supported much by council .
