We feel like we are being discriminated because we live further out. We have medically ill people on our road that needs access to fresh water. When the power goes off you don’t have water then when it comes back on it’s rusty and full of stones you can’t drink it much less wash your laundry we pay our property taxes every year just like everybody else plus it goes up every year as well but yet we don’t have access to county water homeowners insurance is out the roof because we aren’t close to a water hydrant if your house caught fire it probably couldn’t be saved because we don’t have water access. Peoples wells go dry, the pumps goes out, the wires burn up yes we knew the water situation when we chose to live here. yet what I’m not getting is they have came out here and put water on all of the surrounding roads around us yet they claim we don’t have enough people on our road I also get told that when they started the project they claim to have ran out of money to run it up our road when I call the water department they said they may could do it another 20 yrs or so that I should get a petition going to try to bump the project up. I feel that they chose to not run it up our road only based on the number of residents on the road meaning it wouldn’t be worth it to them And that should not be the case . People should have the option for county water instead of being told NO !
