I have been a Bronco fan for a number of years and the barrel man was ALWAYS there getting the fans to cheer on the Broncos os its high time he needs to be recognized as well as the football players too!

As the Broncos first rose to national prominence with bricks through Howard Cosell's face, and the Orange Crush Defense, there was also the Barrel Man. To a 13 yr old Denver kid at the time, going to the games was nirvana, but watching him in a Dec game against the Chargers his commitment and little bit of craziness was eye opening. It said, to be a Bronco fan, you have to be devoted through good or bad. And a little crazy. Thank You, Tim McKernan.

The Barrel Man was and always will be a Denver Broncos fan favorite. He was always there to cheer his beloved Broncos on during any weather conditions. Being a young boy and seeing him during game always made me smile. To have that much passion for over thirty years, their is no question he should be in shrine into the Denver Broncos ring of honor.
