Dear Mr. Bowlen and Mr. Elway.
We, the faithful, orange and blue fans of Broncos Country, are thrilled and thankful with the direction and success of our beloved Broncos under your leadership. It has vaulted the Broncos back to the ranks of the NFL's Elite teams, and we, the fans are elated to be a part of it. Because the Broncos and the fans have a special bond, like none other in the NFL, the stadium is full of 75,000 family members every Sunday. I can think of no fan who more epitomized Broncos fans and the love we have for our team more than The Barrel Man, Mr. Tim McKernan. He represented all a Broncos fan should be-passionate, loyal and a little touch of crazy! He did this for over 30 years both at home and on the road, and as you know, he is enshrined in the Pro Football HOF in the fan section. When he passed in 2009, each stadium held a moment of silence in his memory. I know several teams in the NFL(Buffalo and Seattle) have honored their fans with a spot in their ring of fame. I can think of no better candidate to honor than Mr. McKernanwhom you are both familiar with. We, the undersigned family of Broncos Country, respectfully request that you please consider inducting Tim "The Barrel Man" McKernan as the second non-player into the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame
.
Thank you for your consideration.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you remember The Barrel Man and want to see him honored. If we can reach five thousand signatures before we present this to the front office it would show them exactly how much his legacy still means to us.

I grew up thinking The Barrel Man was an employee of the stadium because he was always there, just like the rest of the fixtures. His dedication and devotion exemplifies the spirit of all Broncos fans, myself included. Please honor him accordingly.

I am a third generation loyal Denver fan and season ticket holder. I remember going to games with my mom when I was very young and I remember The Barrel Man very well and very fondly. He is such a wonderful representative of our amazing fans in Bronco Country!

I'm from Northwest Pennsylvania. In the heart of Steeler country but I've always been a Broncos fan. When I think of the Denver Broncos I think of 3 things. The Rocky Mountains, The Drive and The Barrel Man. Blue and Orange for life.

When I was a kid about 20 years ago, I remember asking my grandfather who he was. I remember him saying to this day "A Denver Bronco". I said "But he doesn't have a uniform" Gramps said "He does better for the team than some that do"

I got to go to my first home game at MILEHIGH STADIUM when I was 4 because I was already a diehard Broncos fan. The greatest thing other than winning was to get to see the Barrel Man. He disserves to be inducted into the Ring Of Fame!!

He epitomized what a BRONCOS fan is. Think about all the games he was at when it was freezing cold. A LOT. And if I am not mistaken, he had a heart attack, recovered, and came back to cheer his beloved BRONCOS On again. Put him in the Ring, please.
