The Barrel Man was and always will be a Denver Broncos fan favorite. He was always there to cheer his beloved Broncos on during any weather conditions. Being a young boy and seeing him during game always made me smile. To have that much passion for over thirty years, their is no question he should be in shrine into the Denver Broncos ring of honor.

When (not if) the Barrel Man is added to the Ring of Fame as an honorary representation of Denver's "12 Man," please have his son be there to accept the honors. It was not covered in the press well, but the Barrel Man recently did a "one-time" tribute to his father, written about here: http://www.milehighreport.com/2014/11/25/7282157/the-barrel-mans-son-suits-up-in-dads-honor It would be fitting to see his son dress up one more time in honor of his father, and in honor of Bronco's fans selling out the stadium for several decades now. Sincerely, Nathan Counley
