I was just checking the dashboard and we are creeping up on that two hundred and fifty mark which feels like a big step for all of us. If you can get this link into a few more group chats or onto your social media pages right now I think we might actually push this over the edge before the day is out. It is just so frustrating thinking about those long drives to Alice because women deserve to stay here on country with their families instead of being shuffled away.

500km is just too far when you are pregnant. Keep them home where they belong.
My sister had to leave and it was awful. Needs to change now.
Fix this. No one should be forced to drive that far just to have a baby.
BUSH NURSING ISNT ENOUGH WE NEED DOCTORS IN THE BARKLY. RESPECT OUR WOMEN.
It is so hard being away from the rest of the mob during such a big moment. Let our women birth on country.

Ridiculous that women have to travel that far. Birth should be with family and community. Bring the services back to Tennant Creek.
