I loved every moment of my time at Baradene. If Zoning was in effect then, it would not have been possible for me to attend.

Justice and Equality is a value often left out of Catholic education. Why should the girls be limited to education because of where they come from? I'm from South Auckland and a devout Catholic, teaching in a Catholic school..."Come as you are"...Zoning prohibits and deters opportunities for good Catholic education many able and endeavouring students.

I would not have the amazing friends I have now if Baradene was zoned. I am blessed with who I know and known through all walks of my life, especially after starting high school at Baradene.

Catholic schools are for everyone. It gives all people EQUAL opportunity. Zoning will take away a huge part of why so many students were educated in so many countries.

I went to Baradent and loved the diversity. I hope to send any daughters I have there and if I don't live "in zone" it would be very sad to not let then have the same experience as me.

I would have not had the opportunity to attend Baradene if this were the case. Baradene had a strong influence over my beliefs and character.

when I started Baradene in 99', it was very diverse. Students came from as far as Pukekohe. And this is what an all-girls school needs. High school prepares young women for the "real world" - put zoning into it and what a shock these girls will have. Also, I now reside in Australia and most, if not all, of their schools are zoned unfortunately so parents move so they can educate their child - what does that tell a 14 year old child starting high school?

My best friend is from south and I moved out south in my last years at Baradene, I was given the gift to continue at the school because there was no zoning
