I lived in Blockhouse bay and would neaver be able to get in, if this scheme existed, and would not have gained this amazing education and know people fro all around Auckland.

Aa a BOT member at another central Auckland Catholic school, I am horrified at this direction MOE! Please keep our schools open to all our students no matter where they live.

Baradene must remain as it is where a diverse catchment area for ensures all students have a chance to experience the atmosphere and culture that this school has always demonstrated'

To place a `zone' around Baradene is going against the basic principles of Saint Madeline Sophie Barat

it is trying to create a private school situation. all catholic schools should be all catholics who want to attend. not just a select few that live within a particular geographic area.

Baradene is a school that offers a high quality education for those travelling near or far and I believe if Baradene becomes a zoned school it will mean girls like me who live far away will not be able to experience this amazing school and everyone should be able to have the opportunity to.

When I began attending Baradene, the goal that was represented that year was "A Social Awareness that Impels to Action" when this zoning its implemented they will be ignoring this goal and limiting the culture of Baradene as it used to have a very diverse culture.

The whole reason the Sacred Heart schools were started by Saint Madeleine Sophie Bara was to provide education for catholic girls ANYWHERE. Not just ones in a particular "zone". Placing a Zone on Baradene will go against the special character of the school.

Big family tradition. Extended family from Bombay, Pakarunga and North Shore all out of zone. Not happy.

Just what does the Minstry of Education hope to achieve? Please leave well alone.
