We need your signature now!! Before school is out and you begin your summer plans, July 10 is right around the corner. To bring you up to date.....last minute information was submitted for the Commissioner's consideration but the County Attorney recommended that the Planning Department staff review prior to submitting to the Commissioners, so the rezoning issue has been deferred until the July 10 Commission meeting. So please, continue to spread the word and gather signatures and comments for presentation at the meeting in July. Please share this petition with your friends and family. This rezoning impacts the Bannerman/Bull Headley/Killearn Lakes/Meridian/Ox Bottom/McBride/Coventry Banks and Summerbrooke neighborhoods, not only with increased traffic and overcrowding of our schools but also run off pollution and silt in our lakes and a likely decrease in the value of our homes. Remember, strength in numbers, irresponsible development affects us all!!! For additional information please contact [email protected].

We just hit 500 signatures and the developers are finally starting to sweat. This number proves that our community refuses to let them destroy our neighborhoods for their own profit.

The schools and the roadways are not equipped to handle the influx of housing this dense. Also, the environmental impact seems to be neglected. The whole parcel was Lake Protection for a reason, to allow the node is greed on the developer's part.

no rational member on the planning commission would approve such a change in zoning. The increase in traffic on Bannerman and Bull Headely would be horrific but the over crowding of our schools, that this change in zoning would create, would be an unpardonable sacrilege.

We need to preserve the Lake Protection! There was a reason why it was structured like that versus making it a LPN. Tallahassee is a city of trees, canopy's and natural scenery balanced with communities that enjoy these areas on a daily bases.

I am not opposed to development, btu this is too much too quickly for our area to be able to absorb in a reasonable way. I'm just not sure this is a responsible move runtil further provisions are made for such a large influx of homes and people.

I don't feel enough consideration has been given to more traffic, crowded roads, overcrowding of schools. I would like to see our Commission addressing these issues first (better roads, discussion of a new school) rather than approving a plan before anything is done.

Without widening bannerman road and expanding capacity at the zoned schools, this is going to be disastrous. The schools are already crowded and beginning to lose rating. The congestion on Bannerman is maddening. Please reconsider the zoning change

I am against the rezoning and the additional traffic it will bring. I am against the inevitable increase in crime. There is no reason to ruin our neighborhoods.

This land was never suppose to be built on, The schools & roadways are not equipped to handle this HORRIBLE idea!
