Earlier this year, County Legislator Angelo Santabarbara introduced legislation, the "Protection of Toddler and Babies Act," to ban the sale of products containing Bisphenol A (BPA) within Schenectady County. BPA, a chemical commonly found in baby bottles and cups designed for children, has been linked to complications in children�s immune and reproduction systems, as well as hyperactivity and an increased risk of breast and prostate cancer, obesity and diabetes. Unfortunately, partisan politics are keeping this vital bill from reaching the floor for a vote. Sign this petition and demand Schenectady County Democrats allow for debate on this important legislation.
