Assault weapons and assault extended magazines have been the weapons of choice in the past years for mass slaughter. This petition is to demand that the Arizona legislature enact laws to ban the sale of all assault weapons and extended magazines and to require registration and background checks of the current owners of privately owned assault weapons with a strong penalty for not registering. We vow to lobby and vote against any Arizona legislature who does not support this petition. It is time to stop the carnage
