Pools have less risk than anything else a person could be doing for a sport or their health! Please open Meadow Brook so people can continue to train for their swimming teams and keep healthy!
Warmly,
Lortie

It is difficult to tell what the real rationale is behind not being willing to open at 50% capacity. The City Council works for the PEOPLE of the city. This isn't England.

This country represents freedom and liberty. Freedom to exercise when we deem. Freedom against oppression. We shouldn't have to email the City Council each time a Baltimore city resident wants to go swimming in a safe manner. What about these businesses and their families ? Have you thought about them? This is Micromanagement, Oppression, and thinking constituents are stupid at its finest.

It is okay for large groups to gather by Baltimore City Hall and in some cities for looters to destroy public and private property ?? But it's not okay for law-abiding residents to do socially distanced, lap swimming, at a 50% capacity in a chlorinated pool ? Ridiculous !!! Bring back common sense.
