The undersigned residents of the Town of Ballston call upon the Town Board to adopt the proposed zoning amendment that would change the Industrial District to a Light Industrial District, and would exclude heavy industrial activities. We understand that passing this amendment may cause the Town to become the subject of a strategic lawsuit brought by an out-of-town company that wants to locate a heavy industrial activity within our Town. However, the threat of that lawsuit should not stop the Town Board members from passing this zoning amendment, which will protect our local community from the excessive noise, pollution, traffic and hazards associated with heavy industrial activities.

The Town Board is still hiding behind the threat of a lawsuit instead of protecting our homes from industrial pollution. They are terrified of being bullied by out of town corporations but they should be more afraid of failing the people who actually live here.

The Town Board can no longer ignore this groundswell of residents demanding an end to heavy industrial threats in our neighborhood. We have built undeniable momentum that proves the people of Ballston will not be bullied by out-of-town corporations looking to pollute our home. This fight is far from over but our collective refusal to back down has put the Board on notice.

Keep the heavy stuff out. We dont need all that noise and traffic on our roads. Do the right thing for once.
DO NOT be intimidated by these lawsuits. They are just trying to bully us. Stand up for the town.
We need to preserve what we have before its gone forever. tired of seeing everything turn into a industrial zone.
Ridiculous to think they want to build that here. Keep Ballston residential and safe. No heavy industrial!!

This is our home. Why should some company from out of town get to ruin our quality of life?? Vote yes.
