Status-
On 10/8/2014 The Town Of Hempstead Board of Appeal have Denied Black Pearl Lounge and Cafe a Caberet License.
This is not the proper location. Furthermore, the patrons create an unsavory environment during late hours on our neighboring streets. There is a litter problem now and we never had one before the arrival of this establishment. The noise created by the patrons walking in groups to their cars at late hours is a constant disruption to my sleep. Lastly, the patrons are taking up an excessive amount of parking on the nearby streets. I have never feared walking my dog at night and now due to the unsavory clientele of this establishment, I am fearful when walking the dog in the evenings.
