Four major hits: Come and Get It, Day After Day, No Matter What, and Baby Blue all are instantly loved and recognized. Their song, Without You sung by Harry Nilsson was a major hit in 1972 and has been covered many times, by all ages.

Seeing all this movement makes me think about those nights I spent spinning their records until the vinyl practically wore thin and honestly it feels like people are finally catching up to what we all knew deep down in our bones. It is just mind blowing to watch this pick up speed because for a long time I felt like I was shouting at a brick wall but now the music is actually reaching the right ears.

Badfinger deserves consideration a place in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. No Dice, Straight Up and Wish You Were Here are genuine classic rock albums.
It's ridiculous BADFINGER isn't in the Hall. They had hits, wrote one of the greatest songs ever ("Without You"), all could write, sing and play, and they were one of the originators of "power pop." There should be a section in the Hall just on that, and Badfinger should be on top of that list.
recent additions to the RR HOF pale in comparison to Badfinger. The sheer talent, song writing and commitment were up there with the first invasion.Please give the boys their due respect. Kiss ? Madonna ? Come on. Ask their contemporaries or their disciples what they represented
I have been a Badfinger fan since 1970, when they were 4 young men with great talent and huge ambitions. their music sounds as good today as it did then !
Four hit singles plus "Without You". Played with Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Performed at The Concert For Bangladesh in 1971.
They deserve it!!

wonderful songs, tragically abused by their manager, leading to the suicide of pete, then later,after more problems, tom. we need to end their story on a positive note.
