The stories shared in the comments section stay with me every time I check this page. It is gutting to see how many people feel the same heavy weight when looking at that trophy. I am currently reaching out to conference representatives to ensure they see the names behind this request.

Seeing this tide of support confirms what I felt in my gut when I started this. It is clear that the community refuses to ignore what happened to those children anymore.

Keeping his name on it is just insulting to the victims. How is this even still a debate? Take it down.
Get his name off that trophy right now. It is a disgrace to have it associated with football after everything that happened at Penn State.

should have been gone years ago. stop honoring him.
