Change the light cycles to give more time and priority to Aylmer side traffic vs Hull side for Champlain Bridge.

Another suggestion would be to prolong the merging space on Aylmer road before the Island Park turn exit as well. People continuing on to Taché are backed up cause the short merge lane.

Get rid of the bus lanes. There are very few buses crossing the Champlain bridge. Have 2 lanes, no restrictions.

The city and its civil engineers do not seem to not have an adequate housing and street planning. If you are going to let developers build than properly evaluate all the impacts that it will cause the community such as traffic congestion, traffic flow. As an example look at the Plateau area ending at Vanier. We have so much congestion at all those intersections between Blvd du Plateau, Des Allumettieres to Ch McConnell. Why would they not consider planning the right amount of lanes (4) to handle the congestion and then an overpass to keep the flow of the Allumettieres traffic, well it's about funding. As the saying says "Money is the root to all evil". If you going to develop for money then you also need to consider all the options and impacts and put forth the right solutions for the community. The same goes for Principale and the lower Aylmer Rd, why not consider putting forth 3 lanes going toward downtown in the AM on Principale, make the lower Aylmer Rd a one way toward downtown between 6-9 AM, 2 way from 9 am to 3 pm and then one way toward Aylmer from 3 to 6 pm daily... LETs WORK TOGETHER FOR SOLUTIONS.....

condo developers do not care about traffic, they are just there for the money...they do not live here! what are the engineers doing?

We’ve been here for 15 years and the traffic has never changed, if anything it’s been getting worse. There are more houses being built but not any roads being built or widened.

Merci.

Development is far outpacing infrastructure improvement. It must be addressed before we reach the point of daily gridlock. Traffic needs to be able to flow at least as well on the four feeder routes as it does on the bridge.

It would help if they changed the upper Alymer Road carpool lane to two people so it's the same as the bridge!... A politician should take this route for a month to see how they like it (especially in a storm)...It's quite obvious that politicians don't drive in rush hour traffic, because this would not be happening if they did!!!

Marrrrrci :-)

There should be a pause on housing development in Aylmer until the infrastructure can handle it! Traffic is crazy qith only a few options to get out of Aylmer.

Infrstructure needs to be addressed. Light rail idea was floated, but no solid signs. Additional bridge reinstatement? Something definitely needs to be done. Aylmer is growing.

Something needs to change. Maybe even add a 3 lane like on the bridge for lucerne during rush hour
