Airport Wooded Ecosystem -
Save Old Growth Make Everlasting.
The county of Mendocino, Ca. is planning to harvest the 57 acre forest property next to the Little River Airport. We are asking that a core area containing a concentration of Old Growth trees - about 3 to 5 acres - be set aside and not entered. This would serve both to protect the Old Growth and a destination point for a recreational hiking trail. The county will make little more than 150,000 dollars. Money will go to unallocated funds. Stop Corruption in Mendocino County!!!
Call our Board of Supervisors at 7074634221, or write to Board of Supervisors 501 Low Gap Rd., Room 1010 Ukiah Ca. 95482. Appreciate the support.
my kids love walking on those trails. its sad the county only cares about 150k when these trees have been around forever. leave them alone.
