Save the Trees of Westchester..the famous Broccoli Row along Sepulveda Blvd. between the Bridge Cinema all the way up to Manchester & beyond are right now being slaughtered one by one each night! They are doing this with very little if any community awareness nor involvement. It is devastating, we have to make them stop. They have already destroyed over 2 dozen of these incredible trees. These trees bring Peace to people every day as they drive through this row of Ficcus whether on their way to the airport or home from a frantic day in L.A. These trees bring Peace. This is a true travesty, I saw the guys with their trucks last night ready to chop some more of these beautiful trees down. They seem to do it later at night so noone can see. Just like the Thieves they are being hired by! Theives of Leaves! BROCCOLI ROW - The Trees the soothe you on your way to the airport. Update 12/20/07..In addition to the trees on Sepulveda, they have now marked all of the trees west of Sepulveda on Manchester going towards Lincoln to be removed. All of the Ficcus trees have been marked for removal & many already have been removed.
