It is costing me an arm and a leg with vet fees, air ticket, permit licence and quarantine, now to top it all they want to charge even more for quarantine is daylight robbery!

please keep the cost down to allow us to bring our much loved part of the family Bobby, OZ is where we want to live and bring our kids up with the pet they have had since they were kids.!

This is unfair our pets are our family and $149 per day feels a rip off. It feels we are being charged so much because we love our pets and can't bear to live without them. Please please done over charge us.

Looking at an increase from $520 to $2980 for two cats! I could handle even 100% increase, but 600%??? And brought in midway through our travel arrangements, with next-to-no notice? How is this fair, or even possible?

Terrifying for the pets in the first place, I hope they are treated kindly. Ridiculous money making, do they get better living quarters for the money?

This is outrageous,just because DAFF will lose 20 days revenue they want to still receive the same funds for 30 days. It's not encouraging for people to take their pets with them. we are going to struggle to find the extra money to take our dog with us in August

Although the reduction in quarantine time is fantastic news, such a drastic increase in quarantine duties is of great concern and could impede future plans as we also have to take into account that should our pet be unwell or need longer in quarantine, our costs will not only increase due to vet bills but also add to the costly quarantine duty. Making the decision to take a pet on such a journey is hard without such high rates.

I work for an agency. I have clients already say they cannot afford the extra fees. Their budget is already too tight, they are now considering re homing their cat. The increase is far, far too high!
