I cannot see how this price increase can be justified.

to increase fees threefold when reducing time three fold is just wrong.

Unfair price hike

This is a rediculous amount to expect people to pay, especially when the Q facilities in Perth have been closed. My dog has to go to Melbourne, then has to be flown to Perth, at my expense, so this increase is just extortionate!

this level of cost is punitive and far in excess of what is fair and reasonable for a 10 day stay.

I know so many people who will have to leave their cats home because of this :(

They try to make a deal with my family. It should be reasonable. If not it is definitly a threat. And they try to do that now.

$149/day for a mandatory 10-day no-visit accomodation is over the top! This process was started in good faith, but costs have suddenly doubled.

Far too expensive, especially as the animals will sleep most of the time. So dissapointing

We have paid significant dollars for deposit to a shipping company and vet fees. Our decision to ship was influenced greatly by the shorter quarantine time and the reasonable cost. Now we get word of the new fees. We are stunned and now must consider not bringing our two cats with us to Australia. Our family is heartbroken.

Very unfair and unreasonable. Do they actually realise how much it cost in total to bring family pets back from USA. As a family by the time we complete the 6 months of tests, blood work and physical exams, then the transport, documentation and quarantine, the cost will just be a little short of $4000 at present. Putting the fees up will only result in families leaving their four legged family member behind and breaking heA

this cost is devastating and will cause so much emotional harm to the owners and their pets when one cannot afford this

It is already a very expensive undertaking due to the stringent requirements.

How can this charge be justified? So unfair to pet owners wanting to make a life in Australia and already facing huge costs. Very unAustralian.
