Australia Quarantine Fees

I did think the cost would rise as quarantine has been reduced from 30 days - 10 days, I didn't think it would be tripled, so unfair and will prevent people from moving with there beloved pets

The increase is quarantine stay charges simply cannot be justified beyond pure 'milking' of decent people.

Moving to Australia is a stressful and expensive process, the increase in quarantine fees just adds so much more stress and expense. It is taking advantage of people who could not bare to move without their pets (family members!).

Please do not increase for our pets, we plan to ship our 2 dogs in October where we are relocating and hoping for future residency in your wonderful country. It's so expensive to relocate this would definitely scupper our budget. Thank you

please do not up the daily rate for bringing our pets over, the extra cost for this will lead to us not being able to afford to bring our very lovely spaniel (who we love dearly)

I hope to bring my three dogs to Australia in November but these increased costs would make that almost impossible.

You are playing on people's emotions and taking advantage of them. A pet is part of the family and a lot of them are going to end up in shelters or euthanised because families can't afford this amount. Next you will be asking that pets apply for visas. Shame on you.

Just brought our dog over from the UK & agree the new proposed costs are ridiculous, the cost of the flight is bad enough

How can you justify this increase in fees? Please do not further penalize pet owners for whom the import process is currently a financial and emotional hardship.

We have 2 dogs and a cat to bring over in the next 5 months and I dont think our budget will cover that. We would have to consider re-homing our pets which would be devestating.

Please don't make this change. We are moving to Australia to improve our lives and having our pets come with us is so important. The costs of importing are already high, especially when added to permanent residency fees and other relocation costs, this would be prohibitive to our move.

Please reconsider this fee, we have a lot of clients sending pets to AU from Hawaii and the fees are already quite high. This will utlimately lead to many people leaving behind their four legged family members due to the high cost. PLEASE these are FAMILY members.
