This kind of price rise is not justifiable

Please do not do this AQUIS. It is already an extremely expensive thing to do and this will stop a lot of people bringing their families to Australia. Pets are family members and the current costs are already high, do not make it too cost prohibitive to bring our pets to Australia. We want to come to your wonderful country, but this increase is ridiculous.

This is a prohibitively expensive hike in charges. Please reconsider this price increase.

This makes an already extremely expensive undertaking almost too hard to achieve. Please reconsider the price increase.

I understand that the cost of this rise, howith is usually proportional to annual inflation and generally progressive. This appears to me like a means to recover the loss of income by the reduction of mandatory quarantine stays and is very unfair, especially at such short notice. Changes like this should have atleast a 12-18 month public notice as allmost of the people who require this service are already deep into the planning stage and have budgeted for the current fees.

We have started the process to bring our dog to Australia and are aghast that when she will be in a position to travel the cost may have increased so dramatically.

This charge is on top of a policy which says my dog which has been vaccinated against rabies and has a cleared blood serology has to stay in the UK for 6 months, taking the time over the 31/07/2014 and now an additional fee so he will have to stay longer. I wouldn't mind he is an Australian dog!!!!

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. They are my family. I will not be able to afford to take them all to Australia if the Quarantine prices go up ( its almost triple !). How can I possibly choose which pets to leave behind. And where do I leave them All my family live in Australia. The increase is astronomical. That's ripping us off, making the same amount of money for a third of the service! I am devastated the prices are increasing, especially that much. Why?

To more than double the cost of a 10 day quarantine stay cannot be justified. I also think it is appauling that there is no discount for people bringing in more than 1 pet. I am a responsible pet owner & my dogs are a huge part of my life so there are no other options available. The costs to transport my 2 dogs from the UK to Australia is more than enough without bringing in these increased charges. Who will benefit as I know my dogs will not receive the gold standard kennel service they deserve for that price.

Please dont do this. It will mean that we will be unable to bring our 2 dogs with us.

I am disgusted that normal people who love and want to take their loved pets to Australia might now either not go themselves or feel they will have to leave their pets behind with the cost increase which in my opinion is way too exseessive !

This is not a reasonable cost for ten days. It's more like a penalty payment and even worse there is nothing you can do about it as the quarantine is mandatory - so in the end it's just an easy way for them to make money out of a situation where you don't have a choice. People will do everything they can to take their pets with them but chances are this cost is just too much to bear (in addition to shipping etc.) and loved pets end up being left behind just because they want to make some extra cash. Disgrace.

This increase is extortionate - surely it's a typing error? If not, I urge you to please reconsider.

This does seem so unfair to migrants who just want to make the transition easier by bringing their family pet with them. Please re-consider. Thank You

I urge you to rethink, this decision will break many families hearts including ours.

Please do not increase this as I'm currently in Australia with my family and with all increased costs, there is a point where it becomes an uncontainable dream, one which we will have to let go due to raising costs.

What a rip off! It doesn't cost a human 1800 to stay in aus for 10 days!

This is really unfair, we have 2 dogs and wouldnt be able to bring them at that cost.
